- Population is a variable factor and keeps on changing. The change can be positive or negative.
- Birth, death and migration are major factors affecting the population of a place.
- Birth and in-migration increase population a place while death and out-migration decrease population of that place.
- The formula of Population Growth = $P \left [ 1 + \dfrac{R}{100} \right ]^T$ where P refers to the initial population, R denotes the rate of population growth and T represents the time duration for the calculation.
- Compound Interest, Population Growth and Compound Depreciation, all three chapters have the same concept, idea and formula.
