Answer: Environmental pollution is an extreme condition where the environmental aspects lose their natural composition.

2. Mention any two adverse effects of environmental pollution.
Answer: Any two adverse effects of environmental pollution are:
  • It invites climate change.
  • It increase global warming.
3. What is air pollution?
Answer: The mixing of unwanted chemicals in the air that degrade its natural composition is called air pollution.


4. What are two main sources of air pollution?
Answer: Two main sources of air pollution are:
  • Old automobiles
  • Industrial smokes
5. What are natural sources of air pollution?
Answer: Natural sources of air pollution are the biological or environmental means by which air gets polluted. For example: eruption of volcano, landslides, etc. 

6. What is water pollution?
Answer: Water pollution is defined as the contamination of natural water sources such that it looses its natural properties and becomes unfit for use.

7. What are main sources of water pollution?
Answer: Human carelessness, industrial wastes, acid rain, improper water drainage, etc. are the main sources of water pollution.

8. What is land pollution?
Answer: Adding non-biodegradable wastes and other harmful substances in the land to an extent that it degrades the natural composition of the land is defined as land pollution.
