Geometry is the easiest portion of Mathematics in Class 10, if you exclude
the out theorem which comes for 5 marks. Other questions are very easy to
tackle and aren't much tricky.
Geometry is asked in all Groups i.e. Group A, Group B, Group C, and Group
D.
In Group A, it is asked for 1 mark (1 question).
In Group B, it is asked for 4 marks (2 questions).
In Group C, it is asked for 12 marks (3 questions).
In Group D, it is asked for 5 marks (1 question).
Let us move to the solutions of Circle from Geometry Chapter of Class
10.

5 a) In the adjoining figure, O is the centre of the circle and PQ is the
diamter. Show that angle PRQ is a right angle.
5 b) In the given figure, O is the centre of the circ.e Prove that, angle POR = 2 ( angle PRQ + angle QPR).
5 c) In the given figure, O is the centre of the circle. If arc.AC = arc.BC and BC is an angle bisector of angle ABO, prove that triangle ABO is an equilateral triangle.
5 d) In the given figure, O is the centre of the cirlce, AB the diameter
and arc(BC) = arc(CD). Prove that AD // OC.
5 e) In the adjoining figure, AB is the diameter. OC and OD are the radii where < BOC = < COD. Prove that AD // OC.
5 f) In the figure alongside, chords MN and RS of a circle intersect
externally at X.
Prove that <MXR = (in degree) 1/2 (MR - NS).
5 g) In the given circle, chords DE and FG intersect within the circle at
X. Prove that, <DXF = (in degre) 1/2 ( arc DF + arc GE).
5 h) In the given figure, O is the centre of a circle. C and D are two
points on the cord AB. IF AC = BD and arc AM = arc BN, prove that < ACM
= < BDN.
5 p) In the adjoining figure, POQ and ROT are two diamters of a circle with
centre at O. If Q is the mid-point of the arc TQS and <QOR is obtuse,
prove that PQ // RS.
