Answer: It is done to prevent the hatching of eggs into larvae.

2. Why is the larva of silkmoth called voracious eater?
Answer: The larva of silkmoth is called a voracious eater because it feeds extensively on the mulberry leaves, that doesn't look normal.

3. Write any two differences between larva and egg of silkmoth.
Answer: Any two differences between larva and egg of silkmoth are:
