Class 10 Highest Common Factors Solutions:

Factors are the numbers which when multiplied result a particular number. For example: the factors are 6 are ±1, ±2, ±3, and ±6.

When we take the factors for two or more numbers then, the highest number that is common in between the factors of both the numbers, tends to be our Highest Common Factor (HCF).

To be noted: +1 and -1, both are common factors of every number. However, in HCF, we only take the positive integers.
